Pre K - 5th Grade Religious Education
"Let the little children come to me."
OCTOBER IS THE MONTH OF MARY, to celebrate our formation classes prayed a living rosary.
Children have the opportunity to learn the teachings of the Catholic Church, to grow in love for God, to worship God as members of our parish community and to nurture friendships rooted in faith. The primary goal of our program is to help children develop a relationship with God that will support, sustain, challenge and nourish them throughout their entire lives.
Our program consists of weekly classroom sessions, seasonal celebrations, and special activities such as rosary devotion and other special devotional projects.
Walking by faith is a lifelong process, and children need continued formation as they grow so that their faith can grow along with their questions and their dreams. Students are not "finished" with their religious education once they have received First Communion any more than they are "finished" with their academic education once they have learned to read. Our program prepares them for a faith journey that will last a lifetime!
Our P.R.E.P program offers 4 choices for families,Monday Afternoon, Sunday afternoon, Thursday afternoons and Thursday evenings. Each of the programs offers intergenerational, or parent gatherings. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend these sessions. All children must be registered in one of the three programs and once registered the programs are NOT interchangeable.
